What to expect when you buy from us
We believe in transparency. Here is exactly how the process works, from contract to delivery and beyond.
Who You Contract With
Your contract is with Homes and Domes Victoria Pty Ltd (ABN 58 658 859 879). We are the supplier of record for your cottage.
Physical Showroom
Visit our display at 109 Archer Street, Shepparton, Victoria. We recommend booking a consultation so our team can give you a dedicated walkthrough.
What Starts Production
Production begins after your deposit is received and your order is confirmed in writing. No work commences until both are complete.
Payment Milestones
Payments are staged across key milestones — deposit, production start, pre-delivery and completion. The exact stages and amounts are confirmed in your quote.
What Is Custom-Made
Every cottage is built to order. Optional extras, cladding choices and configuration selections are confirmed before production begins.
Communication Frequency
You receive updates at each milestone: order confirmation, production start, pre-delivery inspection, delivery scheduling and installation completion.
Inspection Process
Every cottage is inspected against a documented pre-delivery checklist before it leaves the factory. We do not dispatch until it passes.
Delivery Process
Your cottage is transported in its folded form, lifted onto your prepared foundations, expanded and secured by our installation team.
Issue-Resolution Process
If something is not right, contact our team. We assess, arrange inspection if needed, and coordinate repairs or adjustments promptly.
Warranty Claim Process
Warranty claims are notified by phone or email. We assess within 14 business days and arrange inspection or repair as required.

Expandable cottages are not represented as Class 1a dwellings. Placement depends on your property, local planning controls and intended use. We recommend speaking with your local council.
