Expandable Cottage Installation
Professional installation is included with every cottage we deliver. Our team handles the expansion, positioning, levelling and securing of your cottage on site.
What Installation Includes
Lifting and positioning the cottage on your prepared foundations.
Expanding the cottage to its full size.
Levelling and securing the structure.
Completing internal and external structural connections.
Sealing weatherproofing joints created during expansion.
Site Preparation Requirements
Before installation, your site must be prepared: a level foundation or footings (concrete pad, screw piles, stumps or slab), connection points for power, water and wastewater, clear access for the delivery truck and expansion area, and vegetation or obstacle clearance as needed.
Foundations must be completed and certified before delivery. Our team provides a site preparation guide tailored to your cottage model.
Utility Connections
Utility connections (power, water, wastewater) are completed by licensed tradespeople after installation. We can recommend trusted local trades or work with your own.
If you are going off-grid, our solar package can handle power needs, and we can advise on water tank and wastewater options.
Installation Timeline
Expansion and setup typically takes one to two days once the site is prepared and the cottage is delivered. Final utility connections are completed shortly after.
We strongly recommend against DIY installation. The expansion mechanism, structural connections and weather sealing require specialised knowledge.
